In this week’s episode of Building Memories, we’re diving into the exciting world of water attractions at Standing Pines Resort. The centerpiece of our Phase 1 development is a custom resort pool with splash ground features that will provide endless hours of fun for guests of all ages.

A Brief History of Standing Pines Pool Intentions

We originally envisioned three different water attractions for Standing Pines Resort – a pool, a splash pad and a lazy river. However, our construction budget did not match our aspirational vision. We were blessed to partner with top organizations in the water attraction industry to design a focal pool for the resort that incorporates some elements of a splash pad with bubblers and fountains as well as including the lounge feel of a lazy river with a shallow wet deck for sunbathing.

The Phase 1 resort pool is designed to impress, with features that cater to both relaxation and play. The pool boasts:

– 2,515 sq ft of swimming area

– 253′ perimeter

– Capacity for 251 patrons

– Wet deck with bubblers and a mushroom fountain

– 5′ depth for swimming and playing

– In-pool seating for lounging

– Pool lift for accessibility

– Guest lounges, tables, and chairs for relaxing poolside

– Rental cabanas for additional privacy

– Potential for a pool shop for snacks, drinks, and souvenirs

This carefully crafted pool design ensures that guests of all ages and abilities can enjoy the water and create unforgettable memories with their loved ones. And for those who noted “Phase 1” in the description above – – you are right! We do still intend to build a lazy river for Standing Pines Resort in the future Phase 2 expansion!
