Extended stays are set up under our RV Site License Agreement as temporary lodging at a recreational campground. Extended stays are Standing Pines are not a lease or residential tenancy. All extended‑stay guests must maintain a separate permanent residential address.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my pets?
Absolutely! Up to 3 pets (dogs, cats, or a mix) per site. All pets must be leashed when outside your RV or the dog parks. Temporary short fencing is allowed at your site, but pets cannot be left outside unattended. All pets must be current on vaccinations.
Can I have visitors during my stay?
Yes! Visitors are welcome—just have them check in at the Welcome Center. Extended stay sites accommodate up to 6 total overnight guests or day visitors.
How long can I stay?
Extended stays are booked in 28‑night blocks and approved one term at a time. In most cases, guests can enjoy up to 84 consecutive nights (three 28‑night stays), with any additional time approved based on park rules, availability, and the temporary‑lodging nature of our license agreement.
Can I receive mail or packages?
Standing Pines is not set up for residential guests. While we may accept occasional packages during office hours, please arrange to receive most mail and packages at alternative locations (USPS General Delivery, UPS Store, etc.). Contact Welcome Center staff to discuss specific package needs.
What about golf carts?
Electric golf carts and e-bikes are welcome! You must provide a valid operator’s license and proof of insurance at check-in. A nominal monthly fee may apply for electric golf carts and ebikes.
Is there RV storage available?
Yes, we offer limited on-site storage for RVs and trailers for an additional fee. Contact us for availability and current rates.
What’s your cancellation policy?
- Cancel 15+ days before arrival: Full refund minus processing fee
- Cancel 8–14 days before arrival: 50% refund
- Cancel 7 days or less before arrival: No refund
- No refunds after check-in or for early departure
What are the additional fees?
- Booking fee: $4 per reservation
- Taxes: SC sales and accommodations tax apply
- Pet fee: None for up to 3 pets
- Guest/visitor fees may apply for extra overnight guests
- Optional: Monthly laundry pass, gem mining, and some special activities

Free WiFi is available throughout the campground. Cell carrier signal quality varies by provider.

We are about 30 minutes from the I‑95 / I‑20 interchange near Florence, SC. Watch for owls flying through our pines, challenge each other to a round of mini golf, and laugh as your fur babies explore two large fenced dog parks perfect for zoomies. Enjoy full‑hookup RV sites and modern comforts like our Oasis outdoor showers, private bathhouse, strong Wi‑Fi, and 24/7 Laundry Lounge.
Explore nature with more than 1.5 miles of trails through our private forest or stroll around our 3‑acre private lake. Sunrise and sunset over the water are colorful shows most days.
In summer, we are just 15 minutes from Neptune Island Water Park, a regional favorite for families with kids. All year, we are about 20 minutes from the Darlington NASCAR racetrack and museum, plus fun South Carolina attractions like McLeod Farms and Antique Museum in McBee.
