Thursday, September 3
7:00–8:00 PM — BINGO Night at the Welcome Center
Each round costs one fun-size, individually wrapped candy bar or candy package. Bring your own, or purchase one at the camp store for 50¢ per piece. The winner takes that round’s candy pot! Playing during BINGO: Family movie, Cars!
Friday, September 4
8:00–10:00 PM — Movies Under the Stars in the Back Yard of the Welcome Center
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby — Rated PG-13. Parental discretion advised.
Saturday, September 5
10:00–10:30 AM — Race Weekend Family Photos at the Forest Friends Mural Wall
Meet at the mural wall for a complimentary family or group photo.
12:00–1:00 PM — Kids’ Craft & Popcorn at the Welcome Center
Racecar coloring pages and popcorn.
2:00–4:00 PM — Waterslide, Splash Grass & Gem Mining in the Back Yard
Enjoy the inflatable waterslide and Splash Grass—18 randomly programmed water sprayers on artificial grass. Adult supervision is required for children using the waterslide.
Gem Mining is $12 per bag at the sluice in the Back Yard, home to our playground, gazebo swings, mini golf, lawn games, and goldfish-feeding pond.
3:00–4:00 PM — Pokémon Go Hour
Enjoy the current game events with lures at three sites for the full hour. Happy hunting!
6:00–7:30 PM — Pit Stop Potluck at the Welcome Center
Standing Pines will provide pulled BBQ chicken. Bring a side, dessert, or drink to share!
6:00 PM — Kids’ Movie: Cars 3 at the Welcome Center
Showing during the potluck. Rated G; movie ends at approximately 7:45 PM.
Sunday, September 6
8:00–8:15 AM — Short Devotional at the Welcome Center
All are welcome. Christian service. Good word by Paster John of Mt Olivet Baptist Church.
9:00–9:30 AM — Forest Friends Fun Run at the trailhead across from the dog park
A casual, family-friendly forest stroll for guests of all ages. Participants will receive a Forest Friends sticker while supplies last. This is not a timed race—enjoy at your own pace!
5:00 PM — Cook Out Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway (20-minute drive)
Cheer on your favorite driver at the race that inspired our Darlington Race Weekend!
Monday, September 7
10:00–11:00 AM — Labor Day Coffee Hour at the Welcome Center
Join us for complimentary coffee, a final chance to visit with fellow campers, and an easy start to your holiday Monday.
Holiday Weekend Bonus — Late Checkout at Noon
Race night run late? Sleep in a little! We offer holiday weekend guests a little extra time at Standing Pines before heading home. Check out by 12:00 PM on Monday, September 7.
