On Your Own: Forest Friends Camping Explorations

10:00 AM: Nature Walk: Autumn in the Pines
12:00-1:00 PM: FrankenWeiner Monster Lunch
(We provide hot dogs and fixings – you turn them into monsters with condiments, with an ice cream prize for the most creative!)
3:00 PM: Forest Friends Dog Party Dress Up
We wouldn’t forget our furry friends! Costume contest in the Back Yard by the Picnic Pavilions with treats for winners!
4:00-5:00 PM: Trick-or-Treat Around the Campground
Visit decorated campsites throughout Standing Pines—bring your candy buckets!
7:30 PM: Forest Friends Dance Party
🕺 Kid-friendly holiday dance party – bring your moves to our Dance Grass and boogie away!

Enjoy all the family play spaces around the park: Hiking, Lawn Games, Low Ropes Playground, Basketball, Gaga Ball & the new Play Forest!
1:00 PM: Welcome Center Opens
Halloween souvenirs, treats, and Forest Friends merchandise available
3:00 PM: Extended Checkout for Event Campers
Remember to bring completed activity sheets for prizes before heading home!
