At Standing Pines, camping IS playing.
Explore over a mile of private forest trails, challenge the family to 9-hole mini golf, or gather for sunset disc golf.  Relax with a movie under the stars or move to the beat on the dance grass at our monthly live music events. From our low ropes adventure course to seasonal waterslides to simply skipping stones at the lake – there’s space here to unwind, compete, and discover memories together.

🏊 Splash Forest  Splash down in one of our large commercial inflatable slides perfect for cooling off in SC summer heat! Book private party time or enjoy during general hours. (seasonal)

🚿 Oasis Outdoor Showers – Private 5’x8′ enclosures with rainfall showerheads and open-air design. Indulge after exploring or just because!

🪢 Low Ropes Adventure Course – Custom playground where kids AND adults swing, balance, and challenge each other tower to tower.

⛏️ Gem Mining – Try your luck at our Finnegan Fox-themed sluice and discover colorful treasures (fee applies).

🎬 Outdoor Movie Nights – Family-friendly films under the stars on selected evenings. Check the Welcome Center for this week’s schedule.

Gaga Ball Pit – Gentle dodgeball fun for groups of 3 to 20. Easy to play with new friends!

🎵 Live Bluegrass – Third Saturday every month, local group ONITA plays while you watch sunset over the lake from the Back Yard.

🔥 Community Firepit – Oversized fire ring perfect for evening stories, s’mores, and campground events.

🥾 Walking Trails – Explore miles of natural hiking paths through our private 50-acre forest, plus a perimeter lake loop for gentle morning strolls.

🎣 3-Acre Private Lake – Peaceful mornings, spectacular sunsets, and catch-and-release fishing (Fall 2025).

🥏 Disc Golf Course – 9-basket course tucked into the forest, designed for beginners and experienced players.

🏀 Basketball Court – Half court with adjustable height basket for all skill levels in the family. 

🎯 Back Yard Games – Cornhole, giant Connect Four, and more lawn games under our covered outdoor space.

🐕 Dog Parks – Two spacious, double-gated parks including a nearly 1/2 acre sandy space for serious zoomies.

🎲 Welcome Center – Climate-controlled comfort with media lounge, game area, and indoor basketball when weather doesn’t cooperate.

📚 Lending Library – Books and board games available for checkout. Perfect for rainy day coziness or quiet family time.

🧺 Laundry Lounge – Six washer/dryer sets with digital code access (no quarters needed!). Some guests call it “Mom’s Get Away.”

Continue the adventure past Standing Pines by exploring the Pee Dee. Enjoy comfort food just 2 minutes away. University sports and craft beer 15 minutes away. NASCAR, beaches, and historic Charleston all within day-trip range.

Meet Standing Pines! We are a new, family‑owned campground in the Pee Dee region near Hartsville, South Carolina, offering wildly comfortable camping for RVs, cabins, and tents. Discover memories together with quiet country camping for the whole family at Standing Pines.

We are about 30 minutes from the I‑95 / I‑20 interchange near Florence, SC. Watch for owls flying through our pines, challenge each other to a round of mini golf, and laugh as your fur babies explore two large fenced dog parks perfect for zoomies. Enjoy full‑hookup RV sites and modern comforts like our Oasis outdoor showers, private bathhouse, strong Wi‑Fi, and 24/7 Laundry Lounge.

Explore nature with more than 1.5 miles of trails through our private forest or stroll around our 3‑acre private lake. Sunrise and sunset over the water are colorful shows most days.

In summer, we are just 15 minutes from Neptune Island Water Park, a regional favorite for families with kids. All year, we are about 20 minutes from the Darlington NASCAR racetrack and museum, plus fun South Carolina attractions like McLeod Farms and Antique Museum in McBee.

More into nature? We are 15 minutes from the National Sandhills Wildlife Refuge, with more than 47,000 acres of pine forest, ponds and rolling hills. Even closer, the South Carolina Sandhills State Forest offers another 45,000 acres of outdoor fun.
