Map to hunting

Welcome to Standing Pines! Plan your next hunting trip (dove, deer, turkey) for 90,000+ acres of public land with seasonal hunting  (details below) while enjoying wildly comfortable camping.

Standing Pines offers full hook up RV camping with modern amenities for upscale camping close to the Carolina Sandhills National Wildlife Refuge and the Sand Hills State Forest!

Our Environmental Commitment

We may be new to hosting hunters – but we have been practicing environmental stewardship since before we began building Standing Pines.   We respect the need to balance wild populations.

Like you, we are in this for the long term.  We are creating a community that lives the belief that hunting and camping are not just a pleasure for today….these are things we do to ensure the wilderness will still be here for our grandchildren’s grandchildren.

Heart of the Pee Dee

We chose to build South Carolina’s newest themed family campground in the heart of the Carolina’s.  We offer over 100 campsites, including 87 full hook up modern RV sites, for wildly comfortable country camping.   Our property includes the brand new 3 acre lake we just built to create a brand new ecosystem as well as the 50+ acres of private forest we protect for the wild Forest Friends who were here before us.

And we built this to give you a comfortable base camp for hunting season.  Bring your RV, bring your friends – bring your dog.   Relax after a day in the woods or on the water with our unique Oasis Showers.  Enjoy the occasional live music show in our Back Yard…or simply watch the stunning sunsets turn to clear stargazing.

Dogs at park

Dog Parks & Treats

Dogs are part of the family—and for many hunters, part of the team! At Standing Pines, you’re welcome to bring your dogs (up to four per select site) and let them relax after a day in the field. They’ll love our double-gated dog parks, forest hiking paths and special treats from the Welcome Center.

For everyone’s comfort, leashes are required for all dogs outside the fenced parks and proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required at check-in.

Need a local vet or grooming? Hartsville has you covered!  Check out our full pets page for more for your fur babies at Standing Pines.

Early Bird Gets Worm

Here at Standing Pines, this is very literal!  We love watching the birds enjoy our new lake.

Traffic?  Well, you might run into a tractor or two on the roads – but mostly our early hunters can expect a relaxing predawn drive to the public parks that allow seasonal hunting near us.

And maybe, just maybe, you’re an early bird who might appreciate an extra 30 minutes or more of sleep before heading out hunting for the day!
